Biography
Dr. Shivanand Sheth is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists with special interest in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-Ophthalmology. He completed his medical degree in 2007, specialist training in ophthalmology in 2011 from Mumbai, India and completed fellowships in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus in the US and in Australia
Dr. Sheth enjoys teaching registrars and fellows and is regularly involved in tutorials and teaching seminars for the junior doctors. He also presents regularly at national and international conferences and has authored several publications, papers and textbook chapters.
He currently holds consultant positions at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and the Ocular Motility/Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinics at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He is the current Head of research for the ophthalmology department at the Royal Children’s hospital.
