Biography
Dr Jonathan Kam is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with interests in cataract surgery, complex lens situations, IOL exchange techniques, and oculoplastic eyelid surgery.
His ophthalmology training was completed at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (Eye and Ear), followed by two complex cataract and high-volume cataract surgery fellowships at the Eye and Ear and the Alfred Hospital.
He is a current Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), an honorary clinical lecturer with the University of Melbourne and a past Supervisor of Ophthalmology Training for RANZCO.
He supervises the Fellowship in Advanced Cataract Surgery at the Eye and Ear and Northern Health.
He has authored a book chapter, 20 scientific publications and previously presented talks at RANZCO, AUSCRS, ESCRS congress, and ARVO meetings.
