Biography

Dr Cohn obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2000. She undertook her internship and residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and then completed a Master of Medicine in Inherited Eye Disease at the Centre of Eye Research Australia (CERA) which resulted in a number of publications and presentations both in Australia and internationally. She was admitted to the accredited ophthalmology training programme at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (Eye and Ear) in 2005. After completing her basic ophthalmology training, Dr Cohn went on to work as a Senior Registrar at the Eye and Ear and Monash Medical Centre. She then relocated to London where for nearly three years she was a Medical Retina Fellow at the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital. Since returning to Australia she has worked as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Eye and Ear and a Senior Research Fellow at CERA.
