Dr Elsie Chan is a cornea specialist and works in the hospital’s Cornea Unit, Surgical Ophthalmology Service, Acute Ophthalmology Service and Emergency Departments. Her research interests are in keratoconus and corneal endothelial disease.
Elsie commenced her position as the Director of Ophthalmology and Head of Corneal Clinic in 2024. These roles encompass clinical and operational oversight, strategic planning, staff engagement, research, training and education, and overseeing the operational aspects of the Cornea unit.
