Working closely with our Cochlear Implant Clinic, Audiologists will gain valuable experience and insights to better assist patients with cochlear implants. Participants will have access to ongoing training and support from both the Clinic and Cochlear Ltd.
The program focuses on educating Audiologists on how to become a better cochlear implant referrer and successfully identifying suitable cochlear implant candidates locally.
The key elements of the program include:
- Cochlear implant candidacy decision making
- Post-operative management
- Long-term care of cochlear implant patients locally
**All medical management, surgical decision-making, and surgical services will remain centralised at our Cochlear Implant Clinic.**
