All research projects involving humans undertaken in, or under the support and oversight of the Eye and Ear Hospital, require formal ethical approval and/or governance authorisation prior to commencement.

Projects are reviewed in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2025).

Drop in research clinics are held weekly to assist with the application process and are held in Level 4 Meeting Room 1 on Tuesdays 12-12.30pm.
