We recognise the important interrelationship between human and environmental health. So that both may thrive, reducing our environmental impact drives our approach.

In accordance with the Department of Health Policy and Funding Guidelines 2012-13 all Victorian Public Health Services are required to publicly report and disclose on their environmental performance.

There are four environmental impacts that are required to be reported:

  • Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption
  • Energy use
  • Water use
  • Waste generation
