Café: Located on the Ground Floor of the hospital, Cafe 1863 provides food and beverage options for visitors. It has a large indoor seating area, in addition to a smaller outdoor eating area. Cafe 1863 is open Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm.
On weekends, other cafes in the area include St Vincent’s Public & Private, the basement café on Victoria Pde (near 172), and others on Albert St towards Parliament station.
Vending machines: You will find machines selling snacks and drinks in the Emergency Department.
Local shops and food outlets: There are many cafés, restaurants and shops in walking distance from the Eye and Ear. Speak to a staff member for assistance.
