Special presentation: ‘A new frontier in eye imaging inspired by satellite technology’ from Associate Professor Peter van Wijngaarden, Deputy Director and Head of Ophthalmic Neuroscience at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA).
In 2018, with the help of the Eye and Ear, A/Prof Wijngaarden received funding to purchase imaging equipment to further his research on whether hyperspectral imaging can be used to improve early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. Peter’s presentation will provide insights on the progression of this research.
