The Eye and Ear supports research through various funding schemes including grants and fellowships.

Early Research Career Support Grants

The purpose of the Eye & Ear Early Research Career Support Grants is to support the recruitment and retention of clinical researchers who are transitioning from training positions to early consultant or more senior clinician positions. The Grants will support individuals who are taking up clinical positions at the Eye and Ear Hospital who have a longer term career plan to undertake clinical research.

Eye and Ear Research Project Grants

The purpose of the Research Project Grant program is to support research projects across any of the clinical domains and research interests of the hospital which are expected to produce data to enable subsequent submissions to other bodies for larger grants, as well as projects which have clearly defined aims that can be achieved in one year of funding.
